Submissions Link

This is a first attempt to allow for public submissions or art files and source code. The link below collects contact information, license information, and the files.  File uploads are limited to five total files totaling less than 1 MB. Image files should be licensed under the Creative Commons Attribution 3.0 Uported License .  This allows anyone to use the files in any way as long as they cite the source. Source files should be licensed under the GNU Public License v3.0 .  This allows anyone to use the code to make new images.  Selling the code or incorporating the code into new closed-source work is prohibited unless the result is also GPL licensed. The source code should have been used to create the image files. Submission Form Link

Inspired by Piet Mondrian

Piet Mondrian has always inspired me.  I like the simple geometric forms and nice simple primary colors.  I always thought it should be something that someone could create, but I realized my mistake after my initial attempts with paint and canvas.  mondrian_basic.m - Is a simple file that makes a single image, shown above. mondrian_intermediate - The process of drawing the image is put into a function and example code for making a random image in the style is provided ranges on various parameters. mondrian.mat - The source data for three random images shown below.
